I make no secret of the fact that I am a huge foodie, always have been, always will be, so when I was invited to visit the refreshed May Fair Kitchen, of course I jumped at the chance with knife and fork in hand.

Thankfully London’s weather was kind to us on this day, and on arrival I was immediately impressed by the new sleek decor which looked amazing clean airy with many unique features. Obviously the striking lighting feature in the centre caught my eye immediately!
Mediterranean cuisine is a personal favourite of mine, which made making my choices especially hard – I could have picked everything from the tapas style menu. Eventually though we chose a fair few dishes to share, with some of my favourites being the Patatas Bravas (a favourite since my travels to Valencia) and the lamb. OMG when the lid was lifted off that lamb, I can’t articulate the waft of gorgeous smokiness that was shared with the entire table.
When it came to desert I allowed myself to indulge a little and ordered the chocolate fondant and mini doughnuts, which were to die for! Needless to say by the end of my meal I left feeling fully satisfied, from the decor, to the service, and of course the delicious food.
I would happily recommend a trip to the May Fair kitchen to anyone looking for a treat in central London, bring the girls and share some plates. PS. the gorgeous roof terrace I think will make for the perfect summer spot for afternoon drinks.
