Changing seasons is a beautiful thing, perspective is given and other senses have an opportunity to be teased. I’m learning to embrace each situation that comes my way, and I’m enjoying it. Letting go of trying to control everything is really freeing and since reading ‘Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway’, I have found myself muttering that statement under my breath every time I have felt apprehensive or scared, and each time, it has been worth making the move. There is something powerful about just doing ‘STUFF’. This is probably coming after the fact that his weekend Mike and I made a big purchase….a New car! Mike and I have always been ‘make-doers’ even at times when we don’t need to (e.g. walking for 45 mins versus paying the 7 quid for the taxi,) I still think we have a little bit of that student ‘scrimp and save’ mentality, but over the weekend we went ahead and did it, we bought a nice new(ish) car, that wasn’t at at auction, for from Mike’s mate ‘Dave’ but from a real dealership *Gasp*. And you know what? there is no guilt, now I can’t wait to get that baby…and also go back to saving! Do you think that would be a useful topic to do for a video/ post, do let me know as I am feeling more inspired to do posts that really matter to you guys.
Moving on, this look is easily becoming my uniform. Easy Dressing is probably my most favourite trend in the winter, the key thing we want to do is to stay warm and avoid the blast of the bighting wind, having found this jacket on ASOS, it was a double click in no time, ( I also ended up picking another 2 jackets..but coats are like my drug, especially when that wind blows.
